The Directors are of the opinion that the UK commercial property market will continue to attract investment and that soundly financed properties, let to strong tenant covenants, will provide a competitive income yield with the prospect of capital growth. REI's strategy is to acquire properties with these characteristics.

REI will continue to focus on medium sized investment properties with a geographic concentration in the W. Midlands and Central England.

Funding Strategy

One of the cornerstones of the Company's business strategy lies in the structuring of its acquisition finance. In addition to the use of the Company's cash and long term debt funding from institutional lenders, predominantly at fixed interest rates.
